On 15 October 2007 RPA published news of changes to the Sugar Restructuring Scheme, first introduced as part of the 2006 EU sugar reforms.  RPA has issued further details of how the scheme will operate to affected beet growers.
The attached document is partly based on EU legislation which is due to be published on or around 27 October 2007. Traders are strongly advised to read this notice urgently as it contains important information and gives detailed rules for the application process for claiming compensation under the Beet Growers Initiative Scheme (BGIS).
