Farmers who wish to transfer their entitlements in time for the Single Payment Scheme (SPS) 2008 year are reminded that completed RLE1 forms must be received by the RPA on or before 2 April 2008. Any RLE1 forms received by the RPA after 2 April 2008 will be processed for the 2009 scheme year.
Farmers can request an RLE 1 form and guidance from the RPA website (please click here) or by phoning the Customer Service Centre (CSC) on 0845 603 7777. Farmers requesting a form will need to confirm their Single Business Identifier (SBI) and their primary business address, which is where the forms and guidance will be sent.
To ensure they are sent the correct information farmers will also need to provide:
- The number of different businesses to which they are transferring entitlements; and
- If they are transferring entitlements with land, the number of land parcels they wish to transfer.
Important: An RLE 1 sample form and guidance notes are also available on the RPA website (please click here) but farmers will need to complete an original RLE1 form, sent to them by the CSC, rather than a print out of the sample form on the web.
