REAPPOINTMENT OF MEMBERS OF
THE INDEPENDENT AGRICULTURE APPEALS PANEL
The Rural Payments Agency (RPA) has reappointed 28 members for a second term to serve on the Independent Agriculture Appeals Panel. Details of the reappointed members are attached.
Appeals Panels meet to consider appeals from farmers and traders against decisions made by RPA in administering the various schemes that it operates.

1. The Rural Payments Agency is an executive agency of the Department for
Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra). It is the single paying agency responsible for the administration of the Single Payment Scheme in England and for certain schemes throughout the UK.
2. The reappointment of Panel Members has been conducted under guidelines set by the Office of the Commissioner for Public Appointments.
