RPA publishes three year strategy and business plan
The Rural Payments Agency (RPA) Strategy and Business Plan for 2008/9 – 2010/11 which has been published on the RPA website.
The strategy places particular emphasis on providing better services to our customers.
Tony Cooper, RPA’s Chief Executive said, “The last two years have been challenging and the next three will test our resolve as we press on with our plans to deliver improved services.
“Key activities over the next three years will include implementing the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) Health Check policy changes once they are agreed and upgrading the Rural Land Register. We will also contribute to the Government’s Service Transformation Agenda.
“The Plan presents our strategy for the future of the Agency and as always our priorities remain customer service, improved performance and efficiency.”
Defra Minister Lord Rooker welcomed publication of the Strategy and said: “I acknowledge the progress RPA has made and welcome its continued commitment to customers and stakeholders.”
