2006 Single Payment Scheme – payment update
Figures published today, show that the total value of payments made under the Single Payment Scheme (SPS) for 2006 is £1.503bn which is 98.93% of the estimated total fund of £1.52bn.
A total of 107,574 customers have received either a full or partial payment. This represents 98.69% of the estimated total claimant population of 109,000.
RPA is now beginning the exercise of reconciling the claims and payments that comprise the total fund. In the light of this it is anticipated that the next publication of data will take place in late September.
RPA, is of course, committed to paying validated claims to customers as soon as possible.
Latest HFA data shows that a total of £25m has been paid to 9,113 claimants leaving just under 300 customers still to be paid.
