Welcome to the scheme information page on the Control of Casein and Caseinates in Cheese Scheme.

The rules of the Scheme changed in January 2009. However, from 1 July 2009 the scheme went dormant.

There is now no requirement to monitor the levels of casein and caseinates in cheese because no aid is payable. Should the casein aid rate (currently at zero) be changed, then the Scheme will be re-activated.
