The scheme permits growers to designate hectares of their land for growing certain crops. The crop harvested must be used in the manufacture, within the Community, of products not primarily intended for human or animal consumption (known as industrial crops). The grower continues to receive set-aside compensation provided all scheme conditions are met.

Scheme Deadlines

Start/end date: Contracts are between the grower and the collector/first processor. Deadline Date: Contracts for Winter and Spring grown crops must be concluded by 15 May and sent to the RPA.
