The publication of the 2008 Entitlements Calculator aims to help you calculate the approximate value for your entitlements. It is for guidance only and will not provide a definitive value for those entitlements. A spreadsheet calculator is provided:

To use the spreadsheet calculator you will need:

a 2007 Entitlements Statement;

a Sugar Tonnage Letter (if applicable); and

This calculator reflects RPA’s interpretation of the current SPS legislation as at January 2009. RPA reserves the right to review and amend the calculator if circumstances (including EC issuing new guidance) change.

Please note that this calculator only applies to 2008 calculations. This calculator will not be valid for earlier years. Separate calculators are available for the 2005, 2006 and 2007 scheme years.

To access the calculator please use the attached Excel spreadsheet. This spreadsheet, once downloaded, will allow you to calculate approximate 2008 Entitlements values. The spreadsheet is only available as an Excel document, please note calculations are in Euros. The known exchange rates are:
