Aid for seed production
Thousands of seeds

The Seed Production Aid scheme was among several crop and livestock payments replaced by the Single Payment Scheme on 1 January 2005.

The Seed Production Aid scheme closed after the 2004 scheme year

(closing date for claims 30th June 2005 / late claims up to 10th July

2005), due to the seeds regime being fully decoupled and integrated

into the Single Payment Scheme.

Seed producers who received payment under the scheme during the

2000-02 SPS reference period have been notified of the payment

reference amounts and areas which will be used to calculate their

historic entitlements.

affects seed producers, please click the Single Payment Scheme Link at the top of the page.
