The RPA Inspectorate, are responsible for the enforcement of the EC Marketing Standards for fresh fruit, vegetables, salad crops, nuts and cultivated mushrooms, throughout England and Wales, wherever fresh produce is grown, imported, exported, bought or sold.
Reform of the EC legislation concerning the marketing of regulated fresh fruit and vegetables
These changes reduce the number of products covered by specific marketing standards from 36 to 10, and at the same time introduce a general marketing standard covering most other fresh products.
